About The Position

As Sr. Cross-Platform Mobile Developer I, you’ll design, build, and sustain secure iOS and Android applications with the goal of delivering mission-critical mobile capabilities across the federal government. Our engineering team is responsible for building and operating high-security mobile solutions for a highly visible government customer, and you’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, secure, and scalable applications by contributing immediately within an Agile delivery model, collaborating closely with security and backend teams, and driving disciplined execution in a classified environment. Requirements

  • An active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred (relevant experience may be substituted).
  • 5+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android.
  • Experience implementing mobile security controls, authentication, and encryption.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Samsung Knox and VMware AirWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with the current technical stack, including Knox SDK, Knox REST APIs, Android application development, and iOS application development.
  • Required technical certifications meeting IASAE Level II requirements (e.g., CASP+, CISSP, or CSSLP).
  • Possess DoD 8140 DCWF Role 621 – Software Developer certification (e.g., CISSP-ISSAP, CSSLP, or GSEC).
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up.
  • Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.

Responsibilities

  • Use cross-platform mobile frameworks and native iOS/Android technologies to design, develop, test, and maintain secure mobile applications.
  • Apply secure coding practices aligned with RMF, STIGs, and secure SDLC standards.
  • Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs, enterprise services, and identity and access management solutions..
  • Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) integrations, including Samsung Knox and VMware AirWatch.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and sprint execution to deliver mission-critical capabilities.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions clearly to teammates and leadership.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues rapidly in high-security environments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and technical excellence across the team.
