About The Position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth’s orbit and beyond. Engineered with a reusable first stage and a seven-meter payload fairing, New Glenn is building the road to space. As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of specialists on the New Glenn Systems Engineering and Integration team, you will be responsible for integration of systems engineering, systems analysis, and operational plans for launching rockets. Our team supports end-to-end mission life cycle activities in collaboration with external sales, launch operations, and design engineering / manufacturing teams. Our goal will be mission success starting from pre-sales efforts to post-flight data delivery. The Mission Integrator is a technical position responsible for developing and/or leading mission unique solutions and the full range of products required for each mission. You will lead mission design reviews, develop customer interface control documents, develop mission plans, integrate system performance analysis, and facilitate loads and environments evaluations. Additionally, as a Blue Origin Mission Integrator, you will “own” your mission. In that sense, not only will you get the opportunity to perform the technical responsibilities of the MI Role, but you will also lead the overall Technical Coordination and Project Engineering of getting to launch. We will deliver spacecraft from all markets to orbit on the New Glenn Rocket! We are looking for someone to be a strong teammate, with good communication skills, who is able to work effectively in teams. As such, you must have good execution and coordination skills and a flexible attitude with a holistic system approach.
