About The Position

At Lam Research, we are at the forefront of technological advancements in the semiconductor industry, and as the North America Workforce Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our operations. This position is designed for a high-caliber individual with a proven track record in managing and growing operations to support our North America Customers' capital equipment installation and support network. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations that are essential for delivering our customer's production ramp to plan, managing our cost commitments to the company, and providing direct operational support to the Regional Operations Executive to meet our Strategic and Annual Operating Plan objectives. In this role, you will manage and lead the Workforce Planning team, ensuring that account teams deliver predictable results by optimizing resource modeling to support customer demand with field service resources. You will drive compliance with established resourcing models and related labor reporting policies, and you will be responsible for regional forecast accuracy for resource budgets, resource utilization, and regional operating expenses. Additionally, you will execute the regional field service and process engineer headcount plan of record, partnering with Account Teams and central ramp planners to ensure that regional plans are in place to support customer ramps. As a champion of Lam culture and Lam Management Systems (LMS), you will architect effective improvements to business processes and serve as the single point of accountability for operational and financial performance. You will drive a culture of rigorous continuous improvement by identifying positive disruptive change opportunities, and you will be tasked with identifying business, operational, and financial risks while implementing mitigation plans. Your role will require you to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, and you will lead operational LMS reviews to ensure transparency of organization and program performance. This position will also require you to make ad-hoc decisions with limited information, showcasing your adaptability and leadership skills.
