About The Position

AWS Training & Certification is looking for an experienced technical program management (TPM) leader who is passionate about transforming education. We're seeking an experienced TPM leader to drive successful product launches, beta programs, and go-to-market strategies. This role will serve as the central coordinator between Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless product releases and maximum impact. The successful candidate must have exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgement, deep technical understanding, and demonstrated experience influencing both internally, and externally at all levels as well as proven ability to execute both strategically, and tactically. This position requires a candidate who is customer focused with a passion for new, ambiguous, industry-defining projects.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of people management experience
  • 7+ years of technical program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience in technical program management
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of work in internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment experience
  • Knowledge of cloud computing services or deployment architecture
  • Experience working in an internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
  • Experience with agile or other program management methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Program Management: - Develop and maintain comprehensive product launch schedules and roadmaps - Create and track program milestones, dependencies, and critical paths - Identify and manage risks, creating mitigation strategies proactively - Lead cross-functional meetings and drive decision-making processes
  • Product Launch Management - Orchestrate end-to-end product launch activities across all departments - Coordinate launch materials, and customer-facing collateral - Establish launch metrics and track success criteria
  • Beta Program Management - Design and execute beta programs with key customers - Collect and analyze feedback from beta participants - Manage beta customer relationships and expectations - Translate beta insights into actionable product improvements
  • Stakeholder Management - Maintain clear communication channels with internal teams and external partners - Create and distribute regular status updates to all stakeholders - Align sales and marketing teams on product positioning and timing - Work with customer success teams to ensure smooth customer adoption
