About The Position

The Sr Manager, HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic partner within CVS Health's retail division, overseeing approximately 1,000-1,600 stores and 22,000 colleagues. This role focuses on developing and executing people strategies, advising regional directors, and fostering a change-capable organization to enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Human Resource experience.
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time or as business needs require.
  • Knowledgeable in a variety of HR generalist concepts; ability to identify business opportunities and develop people strategies.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with field or senior business leaders; ability to coach and develop colleagues at all levels.
  • Proven collaboration skills within Division and with HR centers of excellence members.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills; ability to develop, document, and communicate strategies.
  • Able to work autonomously and gather data, analyze issues, and identify root causes.
  • Experience in recognizing development gaps and partnering across groups to solve them; strong facilitation and training skills.
  • Ability to triage and prioritize competing priorities.
  • Project and change management skills to respond to business priorities.
  • Ability to influence and drive action and accountability in others.
  • Thoughtful and planful communicator.

Responsibilities

  • Develop divisional people strategies and align, build, and execute strategies to address business direction.
  • Provide thought partnership to Talent Development Business Partner and HR Director on talent mobility and development.
  • Champion a change-capable organization that helps colleagues thrive in a constantly changing environment.
  • Broker consulting, project, and other work with COEs, leveraging Enterprise resources and expertise.
  • Share key insights and actions based on HR data and metrics.
  • Leverage technology, tools, and resources to optimize organizational effectiveness.
  • Recognize, articulate, and help shape company culture.
  • Sustain leader focus on engagement of colleagues; recognize trends and implement solutions.
  • Facilitate dialogue and discussion to align others on values and encourage collaboration.
