Sr. Mgr, Global Information Systems
About The Position
The Global Information Systems Group is dedicated to the success of Lam through providing best-in-class and innovative information system solutions and services. Together, we support users globally with data, information, and systems to achieve their business objectives. The Senior Manager will lead the global GIS functional team with a focus on delivering business value through management of strategic initiatives, programs, and operational services. This role requires collaboration across multiple groups and geographies to meet business objectives and involves working within a matrixed environment to deliver technology solutions primarily on SAP or Microsoft 365 platforms. The position also includes vendor management, resource planning, and driving process improvements aligned with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Strong functional and technological expertise in systems especially related to aftermarket service lines and integrations with sales, service parts management, contracts, plant maintenance, time entry, quality, install base, entitlements, and finance processes.
- Deep knowledge of core ERP processes.
- Proven experience managing diverse global, cross-cultural teams within both direct and matrix organizations.
- Experience with 1-2 lifecycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP/S4 solutions.
- Experience with system integrations and conversions.
- Skilled in managing and leading large programs and projects.
- Ability to evaluate multiple technology platforms.
- Familiarity with scrum/agile methodologies for software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Nice To Haves
- Experience designing service processes for semiconductor, medical, or other equipment manufacturers.
- Participation in large Transformation programs
- Knowledge of CRM systems, solution sales offerings, Sales and distribution, materials management, plant maintenance and customer service modules (SAP).
- Experience with analytics and reporting tools (such as Power BI or similar tools).
Responsibilities
- Lead and structure the GIS team to support business objectives.
- Collaborate across GIS leaders and business units to deliver solutions.
- Manage vendor selection and outsourcing agreements.
- Drive communication and alignment on initiatives, programs, and KPIs.
- Support budget and resource planning.
- Build and develop a high-performing team with relevant skills.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions through proof-of-concepts to maximize business benefits.
- Scale support to additional technology platforms as needed.
