Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech We are searching for the best talent for a US Commercial Operations, Sr. Manager, Field Sales Network. One will be based in a Field Sales Network office in the continental USA. Purpose: The US Commercial Operations, Sr. Manager, Field Sales Network is responsible for creating models for network optimization studies or continuous improvement opportunities using technology-centric solutions leveraging data. This involves data extraction/manipulation, baseline creation, and scenario iterations to help the business make decisions based on validated information. Additionally, this role facilitates all design activities, dashboarding for senior leadership, and executing a multi-year redesign strategy to include the implementation of 3PL partnerships. This role brings together and collaborates with the various team members within the US Last Mile; Field Selling Organization, Deliver Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Digital Applications to develop enhanced programs delivering asset efficiency, service improvement, and new technology. This role will lead the deployment of advanced analytics and performance management, 3PL relationship establishment and management, and implementation of key technologies for sophisticated JNJ asset monitoring and performance across specific DPS platforms, such as TECA and Spine.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's or equivalent University degree is required with a focus in life science, engineering, and physical science preferred.
  • A minimum of seven years of active management experience including direct supervision and matrix management
  • A minimum of ten years meaningful work experience
  • Strong communication, influencing and leadership skills. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, with demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry with knowledge of regulations.
  • Experience in ERP/OTC system implementation and usage.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality and financial principles and practices is required.
  • Position will be based in a Field Sales Network office in the Western portion of the USA, and 25% travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our Field Sales Network West Region, overseeing the Sales Offices within this geography.
  • Drive strategic initiatives throughout the region and implement accountability measures to increase performance across the Region.
  • Leverage quantitative analysis to identify best practices that improve customer, cost, and delivery partner outcomes
  • Develop processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring scrappy solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations. The ability to scale will be critical to all processes
  • Translate business requirements to drive improvement of processes, and deliver automated and simple solutions for our Field Selling Organization
  • Configure and Execute New Sales Offices across the US to establish and optimize routing and network operations
  • Develop and maintain routing configuration standards network-wide
  • Ensure all new business and technology integration is executed according to network standards
  • Maintain a full understanding of workflow and daily metrics goals
  • Track realized savings and impacts, and communicate results with FSO, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership
  • Develop a strategy for Last Mile Activities and implement with consistency across DPS platforms
  • Ensure a holistic, impactful, Operating Model that delivers value and enables an outstanding customer-centric, performance-driven, last-mile operations capability.
  • Ensure a strong partnership and collaboration with team members across the Supply Chain and the Commercial teams to translate customer needs.
