About The Position

The Site BD Excellence Senior Manager is responsible for fostering a culture of operational and customer excellence within the organization. This role involves implementing change and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across the site by deploying the BD Excellence program. The manager ensures compliance with BD quality systems and safety regulations while supporting the site leadership in achieving strategic improvement goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field required.
• Seven years of manufacturing or leadership experience in a plant required.
• Three years of experience operating a production system required.
• Certified or recognized as a Production System practitioner required.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma business systems required.
• Experience working in a multi-site and multi-cultural environment required.

Nice To Haves

• Six Sigma green or black belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy deployment (SD) and ensure strategic alignment through cascading Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Support the site leadership team in creating a strategic vision for improvement goals and site master plan.
• Partner with plant leadership and Business Unit Managers to execute the BD Excellence and Cost to Win plan.
• Coach the plant leadership team on BD Excellence with a focus on benchmarking.
• Develop a zero loss mindset to optimize quality, delivery, and cost while improving safety.
• Coordinate the deployment of BD Excellence components and drive capability development.
• Lead and facilitate breakthrough Kaizen events and manage CI budget.
• Oversee governance processes and optimization of the site loss landscape.
