Job overview and responsibilities Leadership of all Technical Operations activities within the lines stations per region. Ensuring the highest levels of safety, operational performance and regulatory compliance whilst maintaining a strong focus on product & process improvement, cost control, productivity and team building. Supports Managing Directors & Directors to plan and actively manage both long range and day to day maintenance operations. Works closely with direct reports and labor to ensure optimal productivity, positive labor relation and adequate resources are available to support station. Execution of departmental strategy and business plan through direct leadership of station maintenance personnel This includes analyzing and actioning metrics related to measurable departmental KPI’s Share responsibility for budgetary compliance and cost control within the station Provide leadership and direction to maintenance organization including labor workforce to maximize productivity and output in accordance with collective bargaining agreements where applicable whilst ensuring necessary resources are available Build/reinforce a fair and respectful work environment through consistent application of CBA work rules and company policies Ensure safety and security of aircraft and operations Interface with regulatory authorities and local governments to ensure regulatory compliance of technical operations activities Execute station performance goals and objectives aligning with divisional and company goals Maintain a high level of awareness of operational, financial, compliance, safety and human resource related performance objectives Maintain a high level of communication with all levels & employee groups withing the station Report status of operations, highlighting significant events to MD/DIR whilst providing direction to assigned station personnel to ensure divisional objectives are achieved Identify key issues needing to be addressed and assign projects where applicable Travel as necessary for meetings and projects Up to 30% travel for a regional leader

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • FAA A&P Certificate
  • 8 years in the aircraft maintenance industry with minimum 3 years in management involving a leadership role
  • Intenational vendor, contract and regulatory experience (for international region leadership)
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance operation sand applicable FAA regulations
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years in a leadership role within a large maintenance organization including a unionized labor workforce
  • A proven successful track record.
  • Strong cultural awareness to build and maintain professional relationships on a global basis
  • Strong background and technical knowledge on fleet types operated and maintenance programs
