Sr. MES Developer
About The Position
We are looking for a Senior MES Developer to help design and implement advanced Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions within a large-scale manufacturing environment for a client in Cleveland, OH. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of manufacturing operations, software development, and industrial technology , helping deliver systems that improve production visibility, operational efficiency, and digital manufacturing capabilities. You'll collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams to design scalable solutions that connect shop-floor systems with enterprise platforms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing or implementing MES solutions
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience in manufacturing environments
- Strong experience with SQL data modeling (Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle)
- Experience integrating manufacturing systems with enterprise platforms
- MES platforms such as DELMIA Apriso / FlexNet or similar systems
- .NET technologies ( C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET )
- Enterprise reporting tools and dashboard development
- Experience working with manufacturing systems, IIoT, and shop-floor integrations
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SCADA platforms
- Experience supporting enterprise MES rollouts
- Exposure to advanced planning and scheduling systems
Responsibilities
- Build and Implement MES Solutions
- Design and develop MES solutions supporting discrete and continuous manufacturing operations
- Lead requirements workshops and fit-gap analysis for MES implementations
- Configure MES platforms and implement business logic supporting production workflows
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
- Integrate Manufacturing Systems
- Integrate MES with ERP and enterprise systems
- Design and manage data models and reporting solutions
- Develop dashboards and operational reporting tools
- Support system upgrades, deployments, and configuration management
- Partner Across IT & Operations
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and IT teams
- Provide technical leadership during solution development and deployment
- Support digital manufacturing initiatives connecting IT and operational technology (OT) environments
