About The Position
We're hiring a Sr. MEP Estimator! If you're an experienced Estimator with a focus on large commercial construction come join this great group! The Sr. MEP Estimator Will: Leverage deep knowledge of construction practices, strong analytical ability, and cross-team collaboration to drive successful project outcomes Work closely with engineers and project managers to uncover and recommend cost efficiencies Develop precise cost projections for large-scale projects Generate comprehensive cost breakdowns for specialized projects Perform site assessments to gather essential data and validate requirements for accurate estimating Examine drawings, technical specifications, and related project documentation to prepare thorough and reliable estimates Contribute to value engineering efforts aimed at reducing expenses while safeguarding quality and performance Support the preparation of bid submissions and client presentations with well-documented estimates and analysis Keep cost databases current to enhance accuracy and maintain competitiveness in proposals
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projects
- 5+ years working in commercial general construction- hard-bid, design-build and conceptual estimating
- Experience estimating/running $40M+ projects
- Estimating experience within commercial construction, Interiors, Electrical, MEP, or Mechanical - must have one of the above
- Full knowledge of construction management software - BlueBeam, BIM, OST, Destini, and/or Assemble
