In this Sr MEP Designer position you will make impacts in the following ways; Provide REVIT design and support for facilities projects Provide design, sizing and detailing Develop standards, and work with BIM Mgr to set those standards for A/E and internal drawings. Include family generation, and tagging standards Report to Supervisor on current projects via updated status bi-weekly and quarterly Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by Supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 6+ years of construction design experience, specific experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical design
- Strong proficiency in the use of Revit software
- Experience communicating with peers, project teams and senior leadership as a leader/expert in your field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft 365 platform, Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Power Point
- Working knowledge of building infrastructure and support systems including architecture, HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and fire protection systems.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in execution of large-scale, multi-year capital improvement projects
- Demonstrated success developing direct reports through effective leadership and the setting of realistic but challenging goals
- Experience with construction and renovation projects within the aerospace and defense industry requiring adherence to specific Intelligence Community Documents (ICDs) and DoD construction standards
- Proficiency with construction design software solutions such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu, SKM Power Tools, Lighting load software
Responsibilities
