CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Sr. MEP Cost Estimator to join our Commercial & Institutional - CES Team at our Boston, MA; Brooklyn, NY; or Albany, NY office. The CHA cost estimating team delivers high-quality, accurate cost consulting services to owners, architects, and construction managers at any stage from conceptual design through construction documents. With expertise in architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical estimating, we identify the implications of design and construction decisions and bring cost certainty to the project. Our estimates are accurate, prompt, and comprehensive, based on information from a nationwide network of contacts and careful analysis. The Sr. MEP Cost Estimator is responsible for creating and executing comprehensive, detailed and accurate cost estimates. The professional in this role will review the Cost Estimating Team's products to ensure timely delivery and detailed thoroughness of scope, accounting for complexity of construction operations and accuracy of pricing. This key role will be responsible for performing QA/QC functions including scope definition and verification, design constructability, gap analysis, and risk exposure. The Sr. MEP Cost Estimator collaborates on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client requirements and present cost estimates. Additionally, the Sr. MEP Cost Estimator will provide feedback, mentoring, and training to Cost Estimating team members. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients, including traveling both locally and interstate, resulting in positive long-term recurrent partnerships. The Sr. MEP Cost Estimator will participate and help guide the identification pursuit targets for new business and developing opportunities, in collaboration with Marketing and Business Development staff.
