About The Position

The Senior Membership Relationship Advisor plays a key role in delivering exceptional, relationship‑based service to members while performing advanced branch banking functions. This position is ideal for a customer‑focused professional who enjoys helping individuals improve their financial well‑being through personalized guidance, lending support, and modern digital banking solutions. In this role, you will build trusted relationships, assess member needs, recommend appropriate financial products, and support branch growth through proactive outreach and community engagement. You’ll also serve as a resource for peers and assist with branch operations and events as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping others
  • Proven conflict resolution and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and accurate data entry
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective member support
  • High attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy and compliance
  • Comfort working in a member‑facing, branch environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience assisting with consumer lending or loan applications
  • Background in financial services, banking, or credit union environments
  • Experience supporting outreach or community engagement events

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a consistent, exceptional member experience during every interaction—both in person and through digital channels
  • Conduct member needs assessments and recommend appropriate financial products and services
  • Advise members on savings strategies, debt management, credit building, lending options, and digital banking tools
  • Accurately process cash and check transactions while adhering to policies, procedures, and fraud‑prevention controls
  • Assist members with consumer loan applications, including document review and credit history gathering
  • Support member outreach efforts, business development events, and community initiatives
  • Handle more complex transactions and serve as a support resource for other branch team members
  • Assist with branch tasks and operational needs as assigned by management
