The Opportunity: The Sr. Medical Manager (Neurology) is a strategic leader within the Medical & Scientific Affairs (MSA) organization, responsible for developing and executing the clinically focused Medical Affairs strategy for an assigned portfolio. This role defines the overall clinical strategy while collaborating closely with scientific and cross-functional stakeholders. The position requires strong partnerships across internal teams including Marketing, Sales, Training & Development, Market Access, Communications, and MSA to ensure integrated and cohesive medical affairs initiatives. Externally, the Sr. Medical Manager engages national clinical experts, neurologists, primary care providers, clinical professional and patient associations, and pharmaceutical partners to advance biomarker testing for neurological diseases, including Alzheimer's Disease.

Requirements

  • Doctorate Level Degree + 3 years of relevant work experience OR Masters Level Degree in Science + 5 years previously relevant related experience OR Bachelors Level Degree in Science + 7 years relevant work experience
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and ability to work in a matrixed organization.
  • Business acumen with strategic decision-making; adaptable in rapidly changing environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare professional designation preferred; 2+ years in pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or other neurology industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Extensive clinical knowledge across neurology (e.g. Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, etc) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Medical Affairs strategy, marketing, business development, or market access is an asset.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse healthcare and laboratory professionals.
  • Skilled in interpreting, presenting, and communicating scientific and medical information.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver multi-channel external education strategy for healthcare professionals
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs for internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, marketing, medical) and external pharmaceutical partner employees on the clinical utility of assigned portfolio
  • Serve as clinical expert for commercial teams to review and support marketing programs, materials, and product launches
  • Define and execute US medical affairs evidence generation plan including clinical studies to further validate clinical utility and patient impact of our diagnostic tests
  • Provide US expert clinical opinion and feedback to global R&D and medical affairs teams to ensure appropriate design of global studies
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of abstracts, posters, manuscripts and other scientific publications
  • Build and nurture strong medical relationships with national clinical experts and professional and patient associations
