About The Position

The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Medical Education Program Specialist. This position supports the management of ACGME-accredited training programs within the Morsani College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. The Senior Medical Education Program Specialist collaborates closely with the lead Fellowship Program Administrator and Fellowship Program Directors to ensure compliance with ACGME accreditation requirements, the Office of Graduate Medical Education, and University policies and procedures. A Sr. Medical Education Program Specialist performs specialized administrative work in support of medical residencies or medical clerkship programs within a College of Medicine department at USF Health. The position analyzes and reports data on behalf of the multiple medical education programs and serves as a liaison with affiliated community sites. This position provides administrative coordination for assigned graduate and post-graduate medical education programs, serving as a point of contact to students, prospective students, and faculty on matters related to course management and enrollment, program requirements, policies and procedures, scheduling and rotation issues, and other administrative matters. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Fellowship Programs, who oversees all fellowship programs within the Department of Internal Medicine.
