The Sr. Mechanical Engineer Role: Are you a highly experience Sr. Mechanical Engineer that has led cradle to grave mechanical development for small hardware? We are seeking someone who enjoys owning the mechanical design for product enclosures.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering
7-10 years of experience in mechanical design experience of small parts
Strong CAD experience including 2D and 3D
Deep understanding and experience with injection molding and CNC machining
Tools: calipers, micrometers, etc
Excellent communication skills including written and verbal

Responsibilities

Lead the engineering of mold injected plastic enclosures
Own the full mechanical design from concept to CAD to manufacturing
Product full mechanical drawings with material specifications and finish details for machined and injection molded parts.
Review, test, and validate designs and rapid assembly
Communicate with vendors for production builds
