Work on cross-functional teams creating products that matter. As a member of the Continuation Engineering group, the Sr. Mechanical Engineer will be a key member of an engineering team responsible for designing solutions, cost reductions, and improving quality of Entrust released products. Our solutions utilize a broad range of printing technologies and use a variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical components and processes, including injection molded plastic, sheet metal, machining, rubber molding, power transmission, DC motors, lasers, and sensors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of engineering experience
  • 3D solid modeling experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and general use of PC applications
  • Able to travel up to 10% within the US and internationally.
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and execute project work plans, incorporating revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Use theoretical calculations and analytical methods to develop and support mechanical concepts
  • Review or create part drawings, solid models, and bills of material
  • Provide technical input at design reviews
  • Identify and complete Value Engineering / Cost Reduction activities to meet customer requests and departmental objectives.
  • Minimize schedule and technical risk by foreseeing and addressing obstacles proactively and aggressively.
  • Provide technical problem solving
  • May mentor other engineers
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
