  • Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from early concept to construction completion.
  • Oversee the design and planning of sustainable mechanical systems for diverse building types.
  • Act as Engineer of Record, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and client expectations.
  • Lead technical communication on MEP topics with clients, architects, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership, guiding junior engineers and fostering professional growth.
  • Support business development efforts, contributing to proposals and client relationship management.
  • Ensure adherence to internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical expertise, staying up to date with advancements in HVAC and mechanical engineering.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times, reporting all health and safety incidents and concerns.
  • 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and HVAC system design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
  • Extensive experience in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, IES, and MS Office for complex calculations and designs.
  • Strong knowledge of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.
  • LEED AP BD+C accreditation and WELL Certification preferred.
  • Strong ability to mentor junior staff, delegate tasks, and ensure technical quality.
