Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and HVAC system design.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
  • Experience working in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, IES, and MS Office for complex calculations and designs.
  • Strong knowledge of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.

Nice To Haves

  • LEED AP BD+C accreditation and WELL Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and planning of sustainable mechanical systems for diverse building types.
  • Serve as the Engineer of Record, ensuring high-quality engineering design that meets code requirements and client expectations.
  • Provide technical communication and coordination with clients on MEP topics.
  • Guide project teams through early concept development to construction completion.
  • Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management for assigned projects.
  • Support mentorship and leadership development within the mechanical engineering team.
  • Utilize advanced HVAC design principles to optimize building performance and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.
  • Oversee quality control of engineering designs, ensuring best practices are applied.
  • Work closely with architects, contractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
