Our Residential HVAC DSO is seeking a Sr. Material Planner. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in global inventory planning, inventory turns, entitlement, and Excel, along with strong customer service abilities and intermediate to advanced product knowledge. This role is located in St. Peters, MO. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree preferred; will consider experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in material planning
  • Advanced understanding of inventory planning and inventory turns.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and data analysis.
  • Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analytics support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior material planners.
  • Prepare and present reports on inventory performance and planning metrics to senior management.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Planning for a complex region and distribution center, leading weekly meetings to ensure meeting KPIs.
  • Conduct bi-annual lead time reviews to ensure our lead times are up to date and in line with demonstrated lead times.
  • Responsible for preparing inventory forecast vs. actuals monthly.
  • Gather feedback from Customer Service Leaders to continuously improve processes.
  • Serve as backup for Material Planning Manager as needed.
  • Train, mentor and develop material planners as needed.
