The Opportunity: The Senior Material Handler conducts off-site courier services. Ensure that vehicle logs and driving records are up-to-date and complete, and that packaging and shipping materials are prepared in accordance with regulatory requirements and transportation guidelines. Verify receipts to ensure damage-free products are introduced into our system, discrepancies are adequately documented, and accurate records are maintained. Place all incoming and outgoing materials in appropriate staging and storage locations. Maintain the quality and integrity of materials during loading and unloading activities. Ensure the Receiving/Warehouse areas are always safe, clean, and presentable.

  • Collaborate with suppliers (global & local) to improve the performance of the overall global supply chain.
  • Coordinate and manage the flow of materials and products through phases of the supply chain, including transport, receipt, stocking, picking, and rework.
  • Oversee the receipt of finished goods, ensuring accurate documentation, timely system transactions, and efficient movement into inventory.
  • Execute and monitor the stocking and consolidation of materials, optimizing storage space and inventory accuracy.
  • Complete the picking processes to support inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timeliness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to resolve material flow issues and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Execute agreed-upon strategy in support of sales goals and objectives.
  • Manage transportation activities related to logistics requirements for the import and export of goods.
  • Identify and assess capabilities of service providers as potential partners in a larger global network.
  • Investigate processes to identify areas of opportunity for optimization of the existing supply chain.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • BS degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain
  • Experience – 5 plus years of applicable experience.
  • Experience working in a Global Import/Export Compliance capacity.
  • Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • MBA highly desirable.
  • Project Management Experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Regulations and HTS classifications.
  • Attention to detail and process.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, work experience in a matrix environment desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and Access.
  • Formal problem-solving training is highly desirable, i.e., Six Sigma.
