About The Position

A Senior Analyst of Manufacturing Finance provides financial and process support with minimal oversight to at least one manufacturing site, supply chain, or logistics and collaborates with functional area leaders. The role contributes to short term financial planning, ad hoc financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, management and KPI reporting. The role provides analytical insight to support operational objectives and requires effective business partnering on initiatives while supporting an accurate and reliable monthly close.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance related field required.
  • Demonstrated experience working for a manufacturing company and/or a public accounting firm.
  • Ability to work independently and develop process improvement.
  • Ability to make recommendations and perform analysis by assimilating multiple sources of information.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of concepts and principles within own discipline.
  • Solid oral and written communication.
  • Strong numerical proficiency, organizational, problem-solving skills and use of logic.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a global multi-cultural organization and collaborate cross functionally.
  • Efficient at performing analysis, spotting errors, and teaching others to review while establishing high quality standards of performance.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource management and finance systems.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience with renewable energy and/or technology preferred.
  • Experience working on international teams, Asia preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of agility and ability to manage tasks in a fast paced and high growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Begins to provide business partnering for at least one manufacturing site or functional area while possessing an ability to identify and succinctly communicate financial opportunities/threats to the operating and financial performance of the company.
  • Reports on operational performance metrics for product costing, inventory management, or logistics while assisting the business to drive cost reductions locally.
  • Supports the development of the Company’s long-term and short-term financial projections, department budgets, cash flow projections, and any operational or strategic initiatives to maximize profitability and/or enable cost reduction.
  • Collaborates with IT and other functional leaders to support the implementation of business processes, systems, reporting, and process enhancements.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with external auditors to support quarterly reviews, annual audits, and timely resolution of accounting or Sarbanes-Oxley (404) issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
