About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. UX Design Manager to lead Amazon Fashion Subs site experiences. You will define and drive the future of Zappos and Shopbop shopping experiences, setting new standards for shopping for fashion online. You’ll lead a high-impact team of designers focused on developing our north star vision for a transformational customer experience. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining key partnerships between product, technology, marketing, and critical business stakeholders. You will set strategy, envision complex UX ecosystems and inspire teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You possess a clear vision of the future of UX and how AI influences shopping platforms. You have the courage to challenge and pursue forward-thinking design to deliver best-in-class digital experiences for our customers. The Fashion Subsidiary Customer Experience org leads both Zappos and Shopbop businesses, with teams in New York, NY, Madison, WI, and Las Vegas, NV. You will report directly into the Chief CX Officer for Fashion Subsidiaries.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of design experience
  • 5+ years of leading multi-discipline Design teams (ie. visual design, interaction design, user research, etc.) experience
  • Experience managing teams
  • Experience leading a diverse team in the delivery of experiences from end to end (user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity visuals)
  • Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
  • Bachelor's degree, or BS degree
  • Experience presenting to and effectively advising senior leaders outside of design
  • Experience embedding design within product teams for agile design and development collaboration
  • Experience in Fashion/E-commerce industry

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision for Shopbop & Zappos Site Experience end-to-end.
  • Lead internal UX team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality design.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the user experience of the F2Subs brands, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Architect scalable design systems and patterns that ensure efficiency and reduce complexity across brands
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, merchandising, and product management, to ensure that UX is integrated into all aspects of the product development process.
  • Spearhead AI-driven design initiatives that enhance shopping experiences for our customers and simplify complexity.
  • Present design work to key partners and executive leadership for review and alignment
  • Lead UX team on best practices to conduct user interviews, usability testing, CXO frameworks, and other forms of research to inform design decisions.
