About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented DEXTENZA Training and Development Sr. Manager/Associate Director to join our Commercial Training team. In this role, you will support the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs that enhance the capabilities of our commercial organization. The ideal candidate has a passion for learning and development, an interest in life sciences, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; focus in Life Sciences, Education, Communication, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or reimbursement training, learning and development, or commercial operations support role (pharmaceutical or biotech ).
  • Direct sales or reimbursement Buy and Bill experience is required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and comfortable learning digital learning platforms and LMS systems.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a desire to grow within the training and development function.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospital/Surgery Center environment is strongly preferred
  • Ophthalmology experience preferred
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of DEXTENZA training programs for Commercial team members across roles and levels.
  • Partner with training leads and department stakeholders to gather input, coordinate logistics, and help ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Assist in creating training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, job aids, and assessments.
  • Facilitate live and virtual training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs.
  • Maintain training records and track participation through the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Gather feedback and analyze survey data to assess training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and facilitate implementation of new learning tools and techniques.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry innovations and market trends to support training teams in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Support the management of external vendors and training resources as needed.
  • Ensure all training activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
