Over the next three years, we will modernize much of this technology as we deploy our new Restaurant Platform across the US, including our POS and back-office hardware, network infrastructure, and digital menu board hardware.   We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead the deployment of our restaurant technology platform across all US restaurants over the next three years. This role will oversee three critical initiatives forming the new platform's core, ensuring successful implementation, integration, and adoption. The responsibilities of this position will overlap and integrate to encompass the complete deployment process, starting with restaurant readiness and concluding with the successful deployment of all three initiatives.   This role reports to the Director of Technology Deployment.   Overarching Role Accountability: · Own the end‑to‑end execution of the DMB deployment across all ~14,000 US restaurants, ensuring: · Every restaurant is accounted for, sequenced, and has a clear deployment plan · Deployment plans are fully aligned with readiness, so restaurants are operationally prepared ahead of install · Execution meets schedule, cost, quality, and restaurant‑experience standards · This role is accountable not just for activity, but for deployment outcomes at scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale technology deployments, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • To be a change agent and have a strong passion for improving the process
  • Retail technology experience with a focus on operations in a highly distributed environment
  • Broad experience across the IT SDLC, including development, deployment and support, as well as multidisciplinary expertise in financial, vendor management, communications and driving results in a global organization
  • Strong ability to partner, negotiate and influence peers and other technology leaders, leaders from other functions, and owner/operators

Responsibilities

  • Execute against the overall deployment strategy of the new technology platform.
  • Oversee all aspects of deploying up to three critical initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and timelines.
  • Coordinate the rollout schedule, ensuring minimal disruption to restaurant operations.
  • Align deployment plans with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Manage scope, budget, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Engage with and manage the relationship with all required third-party suppliers, monitoring supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues or delays that arise during the deployment process.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure collaboration and alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, restaurant owner/operators, and Technology teams, and provide regular updates.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Monitor and manage risks to minimize the impact on deployment.
  • Aid in developing and implementing a change management plan to ensure a smooth transition to the new technology platform.
  • Support training and support to facilitate adoption and minimize disruption.
  • Monitor the performance of the new technology platform post-deployment to ensure it meets the desired outcomes.
  • Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and drive necessary adjustments.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and regularly reviewing processes and outcomes.
