What You Will Achieve In this role, you will: Set and manage high-complexity project objectives within the Global Business Unit. Lead and allocate people, technology, and financial resources, including those outside direct authority. Actively share knowledge across multiple functions and contribute to knowledge management processes. Champion and implement innovative ideas, taking appropriate risks within the Global Business Unit. Develop solutions for highly complex problems and interpret the Division's strategy to set business priorities. Assess talent needs, identify talent, and hold managers accountable for developing a diverse talent pipeline. Lead teams to implement strategic direction and influence senior management decisions. Partner with Global Business Unit leadership to achieve objectives and manage Pfizer direct reports for professional development. Guide Technology teams in manufacturing/project support activities and ensure compliance with regulations and audit readiness. Collaborate on equipment installations, validations, and preventative maintenance, and lead budget planning for production operations. Lead operational areas in Rochester including inspection, packaging, and warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • BA/BS with at least 6 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 5 years of experience or PhD/JD with at least 1 year of experience or MD/DVM with any years of experience
  • Strong background in supervision or management roles within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma tools
  • Robust people management skills
  • Proactive approach in engaging with key stakeholders
  • Experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Advanced degree (Master's, PhD, JD, MD, DVM) in a relevant field
