Department OverviewAs a key contributor within the Global Talent Center of Excellence (COE) and the US Human Resources team, the Sr Talent Manager will have a direct hand in the execution of talent processes, including talent reviews, succession planning, and development programs. You will support the deployment of initiatives designed by the COE to the US business, as well as the design and execution of talent projects specific to the US business. In this role, you will have high visibility within the McDonald’s organization. You will report directly to the Director of US Talent Management, and will build close partnerships with USHR, business leaders, the US Field and US Functional employees.DutiesPlease Note: This is not a Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Manager role.

Requirements

  • Progressive experience in Talent Management, ideally within a large, matrixed organization.
  • Experience with talent analytics, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Proven success in designing and implementing talent strategies, programs, and processes.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence across diverse teams and levels.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
  • Effective at collaborating and working effectively with people at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive the Talent strategy at Market and Field Office level based in partnership with People Partners and business leaders
  • Provide strategic counsel to leaders regarding ongoing review of talent and building future talent pipeline
  • Develop Talent capability across the US market working to develop People Partners and other key stakeholders and increase expertise and knowledge of our programs and approaches
  • Support Talent programs, particularly Accelerated Operations Program, to ensure delivery quality and consistency, partnering with People Partners at multiple levels to identify, develop, retain, and engage talent
  • Actively work to deliver the Talent cycle including Talent Review, Performance Motivation, Succession Planning and Calibration
