As Sr Manager, Talent & Culture for Universal Creative, you will be responsible for managing and delivering HR business partner support to the West Coast-based Team Members. Key areas of focus are leadership/ team development and retention, maintaining positive employee relations, policy compliance, performance management, and employee engagement. You will serve as a capability builder and experience creator, directly aligning talent and organizational strategies with business goals. This role helps influence change, build critical capabilities, and drives a people-first culture through integrated talent solutions, organizational transformation, and cultural evolution. Provide HR advice and consultation to Management and exempt/non-exempt employees on performance issues, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and other employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of policies and practices. Advocate and offer guidance and counseling to employees concerning work-related issues and work to resolve issues in a proactive and positive manner. Partner with leadership on the development of departmental Team Member satisfaction action plans, ensuring alignment with Company Team Member engagement efforts. Collaborate with management on initiatives to improve morale and reinforce core values. Mentor and provide career development guidance to team members at all levels. Identify training & development opportunities and lead succession planning conversations. Lead key HR processes for client groups (performance management and goal setting, succession planning, employee satisfaction survey/TSAT, 360 feedback, internal promotions, and interviewing etc.) Partner closely with COE partners – Talent & OD, Employee Relations, and Total Rewards – on the delivery of key HR programs and services for Universal Creative Team Members including employee engagement, recognition and rewards, talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

  • 7+ years Human Resources Business Partner experience, including experience with employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management & organizational development processes/activities, compensation and benefits.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management or related field required.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Ability to operate effectively across cultures, time zones and geographies.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours when required to support global operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and to deliver high quality HR services in a fast paced, high change environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Exceptional facilitation, influencing and conflict resolution skills.
  • Able to deal with immediate priorities while anticipating and planning for strategic future needs.
