Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior systems experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior systems experience, or 16 years of engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Optical or thermal engineering background.
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (Secret or Top Secret or TS/SCI).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver and sustain measurable results.

Nice To Haves

  • Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
  • Technical leadership with System Integration & Test experience.
  • Experience in integration of hardware & software systems, system level TVAC testing, system level dynamic testing, EMI testing, electrical system end-to-end testing, and space vehicle level integration & test.
  • Proven track record with long-term planning and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work closely with Customers, Business Development, and all functional disciplines.
  • Team player able to work in a large program environment.
  • Fast learner able to adjust to project needs and learn new skills quickly.
  • Experience leading functional teams larger than 50 people.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse team serving the Spectral Solutions Division programs through full life cycle planning and execution.
  • Architect test and verification plans that meet customer needs to ensure rapid delivery of quality mission-ready capabilities.
  • Manage budget or Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability for the department.
  • Participate in design peer reviews and plan top-level Integration & Test (I&T) flow.
  • Provide technical support to detailed test plans and guide the team on I&T processes and procedures.
  • Recommend and implement new products, processes, policies, standards, or operating plans.
  • Deliver and sustain measurable results while being customer-focused.
  • Convey information and ideas clearly and succinctly, demonstrating strong communication and presentation skills.
