About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Systems Architect to join our Financial Planning Tool Center of Excellence. This individual will lead the design, development, and governance of our enterprise financial planning and forecasting solutions. This role will define the architecture and operating model for modern financial planning platforms while maintaining hands-on oversight of model development and system optimization. The ideal candidate combines will have direct experience with planning tools such as Anaplan, Pigment or other similar platforms with the ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives partnering with FP&A, Data, and IT leaders to define business requirements and performance objectives. This individual will translate complex business requirements into scalable models and actionable project plans that enhance forecasting accuracy, process efficiency, and decision-making agility across the organization. This is a U.S.-based role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems architecture and enterprise planning platforms, with a strong focus on financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Proven experience designing, building, and implementing solutions in enterprise-level planning tools (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan, or comparable EPM systems).
  • Deep understanding of financial data models, integrations, and governance, ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability across environments.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with FP&A and Finance leadership to architect and operationalize complex forecasting and planning models.
  • Strong business process knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, and how they translate into system design.
  • Ability to lead and mature a Center of Excellence, defining standards, best practices, and architecture frameworks across planning systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to drive initiatives from concept through successful delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise financial planning and forecasting solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Partner closely with FP&A leadership and business stakeholders—from CFOs to end users—to translate strategic and operational needs into scalable, usable systems.
  • Ensure model accuracy, performance, and scalability through disciplined testing, validation, and ongoing optimization.
  • Provide architectural governance and best practices for all aspects of the financial planning ecosystem, helping to define and mature the Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Act as a subject matter expert on financial data systems and their integration with planning and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of core finance processes—budgeting, forecasting, planning, and analysis—and how they translate into system design.
  • Mentor and provide technical and functional leadership to developers, analysts, and business partners, ensuring strong collaboration and adoption.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation of system architecture, configurations, and model logic.
  • Drive continuous improvement across planning processes, data flows, and user experience through automation, simplification, and best-in-class design.
  • Lead and participate in training and enablement programs to ensure end users are confident and effective in leveraging planning systems.
