About the position

KeHE, a natural, organic, specialty and fresh food distributor, is seeking a Senior Manager of Supply Chain to lead a team of Demand Replenishment Planners. This role oversees an enterprise-wide supply chain operation with responsibilities over purchasing, demand planning, and inventory management. The position requires strategic planning, ad hoc problem solving, and managing relationships with a diverse vendor community and a growing customer base. Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of Demand Replenishment Planners and Transportation Analysts.
  • Collaborates with Director team to influence department strategy and create yearly targets (SMART goals).
  • Translates strategic goals into specific actions and team objectives.
  • Maximizes KPIs: outbound fill rate, inventory turns, days on hand, spoilage, and forecast accuracy.
  • Partners with vendor community and KeHE teams to problem solve and streamline processes.
  • Proactively monitors the business and mitigates risks caused by critical demand and supply changes.
  • Creates and fosters an environment of trust, teamwork, continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
  • Drives strategic meetings, projects, and improvements with key vendors.
  • Provides data-driven insight and actionable feedback to key account teams.
  • Serves as backup to the Director Supply Chain in his/her absence.

Requirements

  • Outstanding analytic skills with demonstrated success organizing, analyzing, and accurately interpreting large amounts of data.
  • Capable of influencing and educating the organization on supply chain and forecasting success factors.
  • High comfort level negotiating with vendors and key business partners.
  • Skilled presenter to senior management and executive level.
  • Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction and performance to KPIs.
  • Prior experience in food and/or code sensitive product environment preferred.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI and Tableau highly desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of related supply chain experience desired.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, directing work and setting priorities.
  • Forecasting/planning experience in a high SKU, slow movement environment utilizing advanced planning systems such as Manhattan, JDA Demand/Fulfillment, SAP/APO, Logility, Oracle Demantra, etc.
