WHAT YOU’LL DO  As the Senior Manager, Student & New Practitioner Experience, you will: Assist in the development and lead the implementation of programs and activities that address the needs and engage APhA’s student pharmacist members. Assist in the development and lead the implementation of programs and activities that address the needs of APhA’s new practitioner members. Responsible for the leadership development and annual transition of APhA Student Pharmacist Community and APhA New Practitioner Community volunteer leaders to maintain successful infrastructure for APhA programs and activities. Manage the student pharmacist and new practitioner engagement strategy and program. Act as a staff liaison to Professional and Interest Communities. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, maintaining relationships, facilitating communication, and managing/coordinating activities. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR  APhA may be the right fit for you have: Experience and Education required: A Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and a license to practice are required. A Doctor of Pharmacy degree and residency training is preferred.  A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or 1+ years of residency/ fellowship and 2 years in an association, non profit or related fields.  Skills, knowledge and abilities required: Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision. Excellent project management skills, experience with Asana a plus  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to various audiences. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data and member needs. Deep understanding of trends in pharmacy education, workforce development, and needs of student pharmacists and new practitioners. Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including faculty members, pharmacy organizations, and external partners. Proficiency with membership database, social media platforms, virtual event platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. Prior experience developing or managing professional development programs in a healthcare setting or within a membership organization is highly desirable.
