Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Ability to develop content independently and prioritize workflow with limited supervision, to manage projects.
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables and projects to meet timelines efficiently and ability to adapt to changes in priorities quickly.
  • Ability to participate in complex cross enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels.
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling.

Nice To Haves

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • 2 to 4 plus years total experience in management consulting or corporate strategy.
  • Experience in and or significant exposure to the payments industry.
  • Experience working with economic theories, scenario analysis, and competitive assessments. Knowledge of payment industry revenue drivers a plus.
  • Commitment to continuous training and improvement of employees throughout the corporate strategy function.
  • Self starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
  • Bilingual English Spanish required, Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in internal strategy consulting projects and workstreams for internal clients in LAC.
  • Structure and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of business issues. Build out unique, creative and impactful solutions by integrating insights across Visas many expert functional resources and supporting collaborative solution development.
  • Support the development of overall country strategies with a focus on innovation, new product design and M and A.
  • Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations.
  • Work closely with cross functional and regional management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight and analytical support.
  • Develop executive level communications. Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional staff and management in a clear, concise and impactful way.
