About The Position

The Senior Manager of Strategic Finance at Lucid will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and analysis of the company. This position involves partnering with key stakeholders, including the Head of Strategic Finance and CFO, to drive long-term business planning, fundraising, and corporate development initiatives. The individual will lead a team responsible for financial modeling, scenario planning, and management reporting, ensuring that strategic decisions are data-driven and aligned with the company's goals of innovation and sustainability in the luxury electric vehicle market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a technical field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in analytical finance roles such as Corporate Finance or Investment Banking.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements.
  • Proven technical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent financial analysis and valuation skills, including merger/acquisition analysis.
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop relationships across the company.
  • Commitment to mentoring and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects with autonomy.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highly effective communication skills tailored to various audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Capital-raising and/or investor experience preferred.
  • Experience in Technology, Automotive, and/or Transportation Technology industries.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a team responsible for company-level long-range planning and forecasting models.
  • Drive improvements to forecast accuracy through trend analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Utilize data and metrics to identify cost reduction ideas and growth opportunities.
  • Support various teams with project-level financial analyses and new product development.
  • Develop and standardize financial analysis models for company-wide use.
  • Perform valuation analysis on long-term business plans and investment opportunities.
  • Manage comparable company analysis across financial and operating metrics.
