Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or an IT/Business related subject.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT working with business systems, especially related to SOX ITGC/ITAC related work
  • 5+ years of Management experience required, including managing IT application employees in the SOX, or G&A IT space
  • Able to adapt to dynamic environment, change of priorities and familiar with multiple-tier support model
  • Exceptional communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to provide concise updates to executive leaders
  • Data-driven decision making, able to effectively communicate abstract/complex interactions of systems, processes and people
  • Able to establish effective working relationships with various levels in the organization and has the influence to drive team players to action and commitment
  • Experience with ITGC and ITAC detailed design and automation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AuditBoard, SailPoint, or similar technology a plus
  • Experience with SAP and popular financially impacting SAAS applications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manages activities within the SOX second line, has responsibility for the development and measurement of group goals and performance.
  • Accountable for business partner, and internal/external auditor satisfaction on programs, products, and employees.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate G&A teams to resolve highly complex issues, where resolution requires deep understanding of organizational objectives and cross functional processes.
  • Effectively organize and manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines. Including a fast paced year round SOX IT schedule, with an accelerated close timeframe.
  • Determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals, managing employees from multiple disciplines.
  • Work with third party vendors, contractors, and auditors as needed for major projects and periodic deliverables, maintain oversight on all project related expenses and budget
  • Help maintain the work backlog, define and prioritize IT application objectives within the SOX IT area.
  • Demonstrable ability to make decisions and collaborate efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate strong leadership characteristics within the group and broader IT organization.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor other individual contributors on technologies and business processes.
  • Leverage SOX expertise and experience to navigate questions from both our audit partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Closely monitor first and second line inquiries throughout the fiscal year.
  • Serve as spokesperson to senior management for specialized programs and projects. Includes periodic SOX updates to executive leadership and Audit committee members.
