About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Solutions Architecture to lead our Solutions Architecture team supporting one of the biggest customers within the Media, Entertainment, Games & Sports (MEGS) vertical. This role combines deep industry expertise with people leadership to drive customer success and business growth for our most strategic accounts in the rapidly evolving media and entertainment ecosystem. Our MEGS direct accounts include industry titans spanning Hollywood studios, global streaming platforms, major gaming companies, professional sports leagues, and emerging digital content creators. This vertical is at the forefront of technological transformation, driving breakthrough innovations in content creation, real-time streaming, immersive gaming experiences, and sports analytics that captivate billions of viewers worldwide. Working with MEGS customers means being part of the future of entertainment - from enabling the next blockbuster film's visual effects pipeline to powering live sports broadcasts that reach global audiences, from supporting the infrastructure behind the world's most popular games to facilitating the streaming platforms that define modern entertainment consumption. The scale, creativity, and technical complexity of these workloads make this one of the most exciting and challenging verticals in the industry.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
  • Experience in external enterprise customer-facing role as a technical lead, with strong oral and written communication skills, presenting to both large and small audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Sales leadership and drive technical strategy for revenue growth
  • Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Associate level certification
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
  • Experience with a variety of digital media workflows and post production
  • Experience working with Media & Entertainment industry customers

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Solutions Architects for key MEGS accounts
  • Drive performance management, hiring, and team member career growth
  • Provide technical coaching with deep MEGS industry expertise
  • Develop and execute technical strategy for major MEGS accounts
  • Partner with Sales to align solutions with customer objectives
  • Build technical relationships with customer executives and decision makers
  • Lead complex engagements across content production, broadcast, streaming, gaming, and sports analytics
  • Measure and optimize team effectiveness through defined KPIs
  • Guide digital transformation initiatives including cloud migration and content delivery optimization
  • Work with AWS media teams on feature prioritization and roadmap development
  • Support executive briefings and technical deep-dive sessions
  • Establish training programs focused on media workflows
  • Create thought leadership content including whitepapers and case studies
