About The Position

Own a software area of strategic importance and customer impact that requires coordinating the efforts of multiple software teams. Own a multi-year strategy of how these multiple software systems work together to solve customer needs. Define long-term resource and staffing plan. Mediate prioritization conflicts and resource constraints with other teams. Work closely with functional experts such as product management, customer support, or other auxiliary business functions. Take on projects where the business problem and technology strategy have significant ambiguity and customer impact, and orchestrate how the team’s talents can achieve that impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Employer will accept five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and three years of experience.
  • Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (1) engineering team management experience; (2) experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams; (3) experience partnering with product or program management teams.
