About The Position

The Sr Manager, Service Sales at Otis Elevator Company is responsible for leading a high-performing sales team within the Michigan operating territory. This role focuses on managing all sales processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and achieving business objectives. The manager will work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement the service sales business plan, expand the customer portfolio, and enhance customer loyalty. Additionally, the position involves coaching and mentoring team members to meet sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree highly desired, with 5 years of experience or high school plus 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Multiple years of experience in various assignments within the elevator industry or a service-oriented business.
  • 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience in the elevator industry or related field.
  • Proven experience understanding financial statements and commercial contracts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to develop expectations and relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales processes and provide direction for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement the operating territory service sales business plan in partnership with the General Manager.
  • Expand customer portfolio and unit count while enhancing customer loyalty in service and repair.
  • Foster and sustain meaningful commercial relationships with customers and consultants.
  • Lead the resolution of customer issues, including collection efforts and contractual disputes.
  • Identify key prospective customers and manage accounts at risk of cancellation.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Service Account Managers through aligned sales goals and performance targets.
