About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Service Learning & Development is part of Product Serviceability and Service Readiness within our Central Service Organization, enabling flawless New Product Introduction and getting the service organization ready for all our products. We are looking for a Sr. Manager to lead 3 service delivery teams in 5 Training Centers worldwide and a training development team, which includes training architects. In this role, you will be responsible for developing strategies to improve the technical skills of our Field Service organization to drive Field Self-Sufficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading Training Delivery and Development organization.
  • BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field would be desired.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Leading bigger teams (40+ employees).
  • Consistent track record in a similar technical position over 5 years.
  • Knowledge of electron microscopy will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Optimally drive the process to deploy service strategy and execution in your Learning & Development organization.
  • Develop training strategies and coordinate their implementation, while team managers lead all aspects of the actual training development and delivery.
  • Responsible for 5 Training Centers globally - driving and growing their training delivery capabilities and throughput.
  • Establish and track important performance metrics to measure progress, identify obstacles, and use data to make informed decisions that improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Define quality standards for training programs developed and delivered by the teams.
  • Align our training and skill development strategy with organizational goals and industry standard methodologies.
