We're seeking a Sr. Manager, Service Engineer, who is ready to help us deliver on our commitments today, plan our strategy for the future and leave their fingerprints on the organization for years to come. The Service Engineering group supports supervisors engaged in our Maintenance line of business, as well as indirect support of the 2,400 NAA Service Technicians, with the objective of continually improving quality, efficiency, and productivity while ensuring world-class safety.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong champion of Otis Absolutes of Safety, Ethics, and Quality
  • Elevator mechanic supervisory experience
  • Otis field supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • A working knowledge of Otis IT systems, apps, and field business processes
  • Ability to provide training to individuals as well as groups of up to 30 people
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SmartSheets, QlikSense, and SalesForce

Responsibilities

  • Working with the local branch offices to identify and resolve issues that drive productivity and quality within billable repair by developing and delivering training material (online and in-person)
  • Analyzing performance metrics to drive improved efficiency, and employing tools to enhance the Inspection and Compliance process
  • Focusing on safe working practices, implementing existing tools and systems, updated technical training, driving PTE performance, and decreasing backlog time through process enhancements
  • Identifying best practices to continuously improve products, tools, and systems
  • Collaborating with the SQE team on numerous NAA projects, priorities, and objectives
