About The Position

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. We are a collaborative, solutions driven test and product engineering organization focused on pushing the boundaries of DFT capability, test efficiency, and manufacturing quality. We work closely with design, product, architecture, and manufacturing groups to deliver reliable, scalable test strategies that support leading edge memory technologies. In this role, you will lead and mentor an engineering team while shaping probe level DFT methodologies that enable efficient development, robust screening, and smooth high volume manufacturing. You will drive new concepts, build data driven insights, and help strengthen automation, diagnostics, and algorithm development across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in DFT, memory test engineering, or product engineering
  • Understanding of wafer probe test methods, memory algorithms, or failure analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and communicate effectively
  • Experience supporting collaborative problem solving across engineering groups

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing or implementing DFT methodologies
  • Familiarity with ATE systems, probe card technologies, or test optimization techniques
  • Understanding of DRAM architecture, redundancy strategies, and failure mechanisms
  • Experience guiding teams through new product introduction cycles

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow an engineering team with strengths in automation, algorithms, diagnostics, and data driven problem solving
  • Develop and enhance probe level DFT approaches by defining requirements and refining algorithms, screening methods, and diagnostic content
  • Lead feasibility studies, prototyping, and modeling to evaluate new test concepts and ensure DFT readiness for high volume manufacturing
  • Monitor test performance, identify improvement opportunities, and apply data insights to strengthen manufacturing stability
  • Collaborate across design, product engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to align technical direction and represent DFT in program reviews

Benefits

  • Micron benefits are designed to help you stay well, provide peace of mind and help you prepare for the future.
  • We offer a choice of medical, dental and vision plans in all locations enabling team members to select the plans that best meet their family healthcare needs and budget.
  • Micron also provides benefit programs that help protect your income if you are unable to work due to illness or injury, and paid family leave.
  • Additionally, Micron benefits include a robust paid time-off program and paid holidays.
