About The Position

The Senior Manager of Reimbursement and Market Access (RMA) for Interventional Spine (IVS) at Stryker is responsible for leading payer-based initiatives to enhance patient access to Stryker products and procedures. This role involves collaboration with medical societies, commercial and government payers, and key opinion leaders to develop clinical messaging and reimbursement strategies. The position requires extensive travel and engagement with various stakeholders to ensure positive coverage decisions and support for Stryker's product portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in payor/provider relations required.
  • 4+ years' experience in Coding, coverage and reimbursement experience required.
  • 4+ years of Medicare Part B and legislative policy issues that relate to reimbursement experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Provider relations preferred within medical device or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Prior experience in specialties such as Spine, Orthopedic Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Pain Management, or Oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead payer-based initiatives to expand patient access to Stryker products and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Medicare contractors and commercial payors to obtain positive coverage decisions.
  • Collaborate with KOLs and professional society leadership to support reimbursement efforts.
  • Pursue opportunities to expand market access through GPOs and integrated health plans.
  • Facilitate coding, coverage, and payment strategies for Stryker Instruments products.
  • Provide market feedback to business management on customer trends and industry issues.
  • Identify and establish relationships with multiple buying influencers at the account level.
  • Travel with field sales team members to support and educate customers on reimbursement challenges.
