The Senior Project Manager within Project & Development Services (PDS) is responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects for a financial services client, ensuring that all aspects of project management are executed to the highest standards. This role acts as the client’s advocate and advisor, managing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to close-out, and is accountable for achieving project objectives related to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of corporate real estate experience working across multiple functions including project/program management, facilities management, financial planning, and corporate strategy.
  • 7+ years of expertise in real estate and construction program/process management.
  • Expertise and fluidity in Microsoft Office tools including Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong understanding with InGenious.
  • Ability to analyze and communicate data to clients and teams, think logically, organize workflows efficiently, and solve problems independently.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Travel required for project work as needed, up to 40% at times
  • Hybrid role - required in Charlotte office location 3x per week minimum

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PgMP, and Six Sigma designations are strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in accounting, business, architecture, engineering, or construction management is strongly preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated high level of performance in project scope development and budgeting, with a broad background of project type and size preferred.
  • Experience with infrastructure and large complex projects is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Deliver senior-level leadership and supervision over assigned client capital budget development and recommendations. Provide objective recommendations and ensure project goals are met.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee and manage the development, review, and update of project prioritization processes and ensure alignment with client goals and objectives. Review project requests, assign teams, and ensure business needs, justification, scope, budget, and risks are fully understood and addressed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build rapport with client representatives and ensure the scope of the project and business forces affecting the project are fully understood. Coordinate and lead meetings with clients and project teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risks surrounding the project, including logistical issues, budget, and scope. Oversee third-party consultants as necessary.
  • Project Controls: Manage the technology platform, process management, data analytics, and strategic advisory. Track project milestones, deliverables, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports and requirements documentation to team members and clients. Ensure all project documentation is maintained and updated as required.
  • Client Service: Provide superior client service by acting as a trusted advisor, ensuring client satisfaction, and proactively communicating project details across all levels of the organization.
