About The Position

As a Product Sourcing Senior Manager you will lead strategic sourcing efforts by developing, monitoring, and executing tactical and long-term initiatives in specialized purchasing areas such as commodities, vendor/contract relationships, and supplier management. In this role, you will partner closely with technical buyers and engineers to identify new product needs and build strong supplier networks that align with business requirements. You will report directly to the Director of Product Sourcing. You will Lead a global team of 8-10 planners responsible for the supply chain activities for a developing business segment of Hyve Solutions. Own the development and execution of the supply fulfillment/material plan that supports the production plan, and optimally balances cost, service, and other business objectives. Own end-to-end inventory throughout the supply chain, ensuring appropriate visibility and actions are in place to both meet business requirements, and aggressively address/prevent excess inventory concerns. Manage and monitor supply chain KPIs, identifying opportunities/risks and driving corrective actions. Implement supplier management best practices to drive operational efficiencies, improve continuity of supply, and decrease material liabilities. Assess supply chain risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply, for products at all lifecycle stages. Develop a culture of continuous improvement within the team, promoting supply chain optimization, best practices, and scalable/low-touch processes. Develop and maintain relationships with both customers and suppliers, to effectively manage the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in supply chain, operations management, engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced environment, with 5+ years managing direct reports.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of business systems and information technology for managing supply chains.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically with a hands-on attitude.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and persuade/influence others.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to senior leadership, and to resolve conflicts diplomatically.
