About The Position
As the Senior Manager of Product Health - Observability, you will be part of a newly formed team focused on end-to-end product performance improvement. This will span opportunity detection and resolution. Product Health is initially focused on improving performance and quality of PayPal Checkout, PayPal's largest product. There is a plan to expand the scope to all PayPal products over time. Furthermore, there is a large revenue target associated with Product Health. In this role, you will be the product management leader responsible for the development and execution of PayPal's observability platform strategy, roadmap, and vision. You will work closely with multiple product teams in the Merchant organization along with cross-functional stakeholders to understand pain points around proactive issue identification across a merchant's life cycle and define product solutions to address those. You will also lead the definition of a framework that product teams will use to properly instrument their domains for performance tracking. You will partner with the observability engineering team to rapidly mature PayPal's approach by leveraging AI/ML methodologies. These advancements should streamline and automate performance improvement opportunity detection and resolution, where possible. You will work with Merchant Servicing and strategic clients in cases where clients are consuming the product in an erroneous or suboptimal way. These activities will lead to high product performance and elevated customer satisfaction.
