The Role As a Senior Manager, Product Design, you will lead a global team of product designers, helping each member have a meaningful impact and a fulfilling career. This is a hands-on role that requires a creative and strategic thinker who can lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring products meet the highest standards of usability and functionality. You’ll join a team of design-thinking UX professionals revolutionizing industrial engineering software.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience designing complex web applications, with 3+ years in a design leadership role
  • Proven track record of leading design teams and delivering high-impact user experiences
  • Degree in human-centered design, computer science, psychology, or a related field
  • Deep understanding of UX principles, design systems, and web technologies
  • Exceptional portfolio of complex web applications
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and prototyping platforms
  • Excellent communication skills—able to make the complex clear and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Systems thinker with the ability to scale design across platforms and teams
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across product groups and leadership levels

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product designers, providing mentorship, career development, and performance feedback
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to execute product vision and roadmap
  • Champion user-centered design practices and ensure consistent application of our Design System
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Evangelize Aspen UX internally and externally, representing our design excellence to the industry
  • Develop deep product knowledge and empathy to our users
  • Ensure design quality and accessibility across all products and platforms
  • Use data and research to inform design decisions and validate outcomes
  • Contribute to and evolve our design processes, tools, and standards
