About The Position

In this new role, you will provide direct input to the vision and strategy of the Procurement Center of Excellence and be responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives. This role will support driving the function forward & supporting Gap Inc's NextGen Procurement transformation. This role will engage and establish strategic partnerships with leadership in varied functions to collaborate and proactively drive procurement influence and processes. The focus of the Sr. Manager will be to enable continuous advancement of the procurement function at Gap Inc.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Consulting, with a track record of driving results in a Center of Excellence (COE) environment
  • Experience leading Procurement transformation initiatives in Fortune 500 companies with a matrix organization
  • Prior experience implementing S2P system solutions required
  • Strong project management skills, well organized and forward thinking
  • Strong presentation skills, building content and shaping narrative for various levels of management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fully on-site position, M-F

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma, PMP or similar certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective business partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure engagement and adoption of technology and compliance to processes & policy
  • Define the data cleansing process for spend analytics and maintain up to date analytics tools and capabilities
  • Drive continuous development and monitoring of the procurement balanced scorecard
  • Lead and deliver multiple implementations on the procurement technology roadmap
  • Identify Ai use cases and build business justification for ROI and value
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process with a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities to streamline for efficiency gains
  • Champion change initiatives within the procurement function to promote adoption of new tools, processes and methodologies
