What You Will Achieve In this role, you will: Develop and lead complex projects, managing plans to achieve objectives and applying skills and discipline knowledge to contribute to work within Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit Make decisions to resolve moderately complex problems, developing new options guided by policies in non-standard situations, and operate independently in ambiguous situations Work independently using knowledge and experience to achieve desired results, often through self-initiated assignments, with indirect review through consultation and agreement Maintain a high level of awareness of own limits, becoming a resource for others, and may review the work of others in Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit Evaluate, develop, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring alignment with overall information security standards Test hardware, firmware, and software for potential impacts on system security, and oversee day-to-day activities for proactive monitoring and response to known and emerging threats Supervise technical work of contingent resources to enhance and continuously improve services, and organize and maintain segments of the Intrusion Detection & Analysis function Implement a training and knowledge management framework to maximize customer value from analytic capabilities, and collaborate with business units, Infrastructure Services Leads, and Managed Service Providers Enhance automation capabilities to integrate cybersecurity analytics with IT infrastructure, utilizing knowledge of network threat life cycles, attacks, and exploitation methods Escalate and coordinate incidents with stakeholders, managing Incident and Problem Management activities based on guidelines, and perform attack life-cycle analysis to implement proactive mitigations

Requirements

  • BA/BS with at least 6 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 5 years of experience or PhD/JD with at least 1 year of experience or MD/DVM with any years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing Information Technology projects and transitions across single or multiple Information Technology disciplines and multiple geographic sites
  • Good understanding of the specific technology area and a working knowledge across all infrastructure components
  • Ability to manage key stakeholders in a positive, poised, and effective manner
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical material to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and execute with minimal direction or oversight
  • Experience in training and knowledge management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree is highly desirable, along with relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e g , NIST, ISO)
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e g , SIEM, IDS/IPS)
