We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the build out, development, and management of multiple teams of developers, who will establish and help in building & maintaining Supply Chain systems, platforms and tools. They will rapidly deliver world class software solutions to T-Mobile business customers both internal and external. They'll build short and long term technical strategy in partnership with multiple broad organizational partners and work closely with IT partner teams working on multiple projects. The Sr Manager, Supply Chain Platform Engineering & Operations at T-Mobile is instrumental in leading the Platform Engineering and operational management of Device & Network Supply chain stacks.   • Effectively manages team to achieve results by providing appropriate direction, timely developmental feedback and coaching, and conducting performance reviews and conversations.
  • Creating training, career development plans and ensures assignments with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Monitors and measures work tasks to ensure deliverables are provided on time and within budget.
  • Defines and drives continuous development practice improvements across technical disciplines and organizations.
  • Oversees technical relationships with multiple assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases.
  • Driving and owning current and future state technical road map in collaboration with Design and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Own platform operations for Supply Chain and Network Supply Chain across SAP/Oracle/o9 and digital integration layers.
  • Lead platform stability & scalability for planning, procurement, logistics, reverse/forward fulfillment, device lifecycle, and cell-site supply chain.
  • Define and execute the platform engineering roadmap in partnership with Architecture, Security, and Product.
  • Security & compliance ownership with measurable risk reduction.
  • Cross-functional alignment with business, enterprise IT, and external partners/carriers to prioritize demand.
  • Establish SLIs/SLOs/error budgets, logging/metrics/tracing dashboards, synthetic and E2E monitoring.
  • Oversee MSPs/SIs/ISVs for managed services and enhancements; enforce KPIs, renewals, and outcome-based commercials.
  • FinOps & cost optimization across cloud and software; forecast and manage platform Opex/Capex, licenses, and utilization.
  • Hire, coach, and develop engineers, SREs, and operations leads; performance management; skills roadmaps.
  • Define RTO/RPO, execute DR testing, and ensure resilient architecture and failover procedures.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a computer programming related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience developing large scale business systems applications.
  • 2-4 years of management experience with programming staff including leadership, planning, and coordination of development work for 4 large projects.
  • More than 10 years of overall IT experience.
  • Proven experience in operating supply chain platforms with capabilities like BOPIS, last-mile delivery, warehouse automation, and logistics integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud) and cloud-native development.
  • Experience with microservices, containerization (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless architecture principles.
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio development environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
